Glutter:

DANCE, WRITING, ARTS, POLITICS, MOTHERHOOD. LOS ANGELES, HONG KONG.

I am a former Internet Professional turned freelance writer of articles, copy, & fiction -both online and offline. I am currently based in Los Angeles, California.

I named the blog "Glutter" because I put "Glitter" and "Gutter" together to make a word. To me it was the perfect way to describe my two home cities: Los Angeles and Hong Kong.

This blog started in Hong Kong on July 1st 2003.

It's been banned in China since March 2004.

The same year Glutter was the runner up for “Best Blog in Hong Kong,” in the Asia Blog Awards.

In January of 2005, Reporter Without Borders nominated this blog for a free speech award.

After a few years hiatus, all the articles were reposted online in 2013.

Glutter is up and running, although much has changed.
