This morning, I wanted to make something with ground lamb and use my puff pastry, an ingredient used in Australian food a lot, that I couldn’t find in LA until now. The obvious choice would be an Australia meat pie. I added red wine to the filling.
Then I promised my high school friend that I would make him some oats and raisin cookies and send it to England, and decided to put in some port.
Just around two I realized I may have been a little over enthusiastic with the alcohol, because I started being afraid I smelled of it for the second day of school pick up.
How to explain to the other parents, I’m just making food and not an alcoholic?
